Richard Alden Knight Fishing Hall of Fame Award

Elected in 1961, Richard Alden Knight was the youngest man in the Hall's 20 year history to achieve
Hall of Fame stature. Knight was acting director of the International Tarpon Tournament of Harbour Heights,
Florida. The same year of this award,  Among the other inductees such as legends Herbert Hoover
(the first living inductee of the Fishing Hall of Fame), Ernest Hemingway and others.
Richard Alden Knight became one of the sports elite, and with his father, became the only father and son
inductees. As there is only one such award, a truly rare item with painted cast Dolphin, and brass plaque
applied to the 11 3/4" x 9" wood award, personalized to Richard Alden Knight.
Originating from the John Alden Knight estate.
A "Copy" of the photo, "Richard Knight with Award" will be included.
